I’ve been there and done it all
And have the caps and all to show
But even though I can now stand tall
Cause all my past I chose to let go
I changed to live a life with my Lord
As I surrendered all my burdens and pain
He heard me cry and removed the sword
And with Him close I feel loved again
So if you need a new lease on life
Away from the ugly past you harbour
Ensure to hand over all your strife
To your loving creator and Father
He promised to always be there for you
As He just loves to forgive our sin
He will guide you in all that you do
As you trust to no longer lose but win
