WHY?
Why does life have so much pain
That leaves us feeling sad
Why does the hurt just remain
And make us feel so bad
Why can’t we be just like Jesus
In all the things we endure
Why can’t we do things that please us
And have happiness that’s pure
Why can’t we release all our pride
And hand over all to our Lord
Why can’t we trust in his stride
When he’s able to endure the sword
Why..?
…Because we can but didn’t try!
